Help Marypaz Share HOPE
¡Pura Vida!
My name is Marypaz. I was born in San José, Costa Rica, and later moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I believed the Lord was calling me to remain in the U.S.—until He surprised me with a new chapter.
Through marriage, God led me to Quito, Ecuador, where He revealed a deep passion in my heart: serving His people and being a vessel for His work. Here, I began interpreting for mission teams, bridging language and culture so the Gospel could be shared clearly and lovingly.
Today, my passion for ministry and education has beautifully collided through Education Equals Hope (e=h), where I have the privilege of serving as Office and Financial Administrator, and Team Host. This role allows me to support mission work, empower education, and walk in obedience to the calling God has placed on my life.
My responsibilities Include:
● Serve as a team host and lead missionary teams during their stay in Ecuador.
● Assist the administrative area and the Accounting Director by giving support in the financial area.
● Receive bills, receipts, and requests from ministry sites.
● In charge of receiving the finances from the teams hosts at the end of the mission experience of every group.
Ways to partner with me:
I find it beautiful that the Lord called me to raise funds. But there are many ways to partner with me:
● Prayer: First and most important. There is power in prayer. Please pray for me and my husband as the Lord calls us to raise our funds and be faithful.
● Messages: It would be beautiful to keep connecting with you - encouragement and messages are a huge source of strength.
● Connect /Share: If it is possible, take the opportunity to share what God is doing in Ecuador. Help me connect with churches, groups , or people that want to be involved with the partnership of missionaries.
● Give: If the Lord has put this in your heart, you can also give. Any gift is highly appreciated and valued. There are a few ways to give, there is monthly support or a one-time gift.
If you want to give but you are not sure you have the financials to do it, remember that God multiplied five loaves and two fishes for 5,000 people. The smallest amount still matters.
Your Impact:
Your partnership, prayers, and/or messages allows me to serve full-time in ministry, cover living and food expenses, and community outreach. Your support makes it possible for me to remain on the field, serve consistently, and share God’s love in practical ways.
Thank you for being part of my journey. It is a blessing to walk in faith and be able to serve in and with this amazing organization.
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
