Brenda Martinez - Health Initiatives Coordinator
Hi! My name is Brenda Martinez, I’m 26 years old and I’m from Quito, Ecuador.
I’m a bilingual registered nurse serving in Quito. I’ve been offered the opportunity to serve as Coordinator of Health Initiatives at Education Equals Hope, a 501c3 non-profit that exists to provide for the education of those living in desperate and difficult situations.
Working as the new Health Initiatives Coordinator gives me the opportunity to provide and coordinate patient care, promote health education and prevention of diseases. Through this role I am able to help ease the need of many students, families and communities. I get to provide care from a holistic point-of-view. Addressing all the components of our human life. Changing people’s mentality about health, which is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being.
I want to spread the gospel through my nursing skills, bring hope and education to break the cycles of poverty and disease, and I can only do it with your help. Together we can promote Christ-centered holistic healthcare through assessments an empowerment strategies that help people live a more fulfilling and wholesome life. Together we can make a huge difference; together we can help change the world!
If you want to be a part of my journey and help me share HOPE through healthcare by giving me the chance to serve as the Coordinator of Health Initiatives please consider making a one-time donation or becoming one of my sponsors by making a monthly donation.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. God bless you!
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
