Ecuador - Higher Ed - Jesus Rosero

Hello! My name is Jesús Rosero.

As many of you know, I was part of the Casa Gabriel project from 2010-2015. During my time at Casa Gabriel, I learned to know God in different ways and to prepare myself so that once my time there was finished, I would be ready to face the plans and challenges that were to come.

In 2015, I made the decision to take the step of becoming independent from Casa Gabriel. Thankfully, I have stayed connected to the people and projects of the ministry and on many occasions participated in mission trips or accompanied the team to visit different communities.

I have witnessed that God has always been good throughout the time I have been out of the ministry. He has been the one who has provided life’s necessities like food expenses for me. God has also provided different jobs for me where I have had the opportunity to work in sales and customer service. Many of these jobs helped me to form my character to know how God wanted to use me or what decisions to make to continue with my process (life is a process).

It has been 5 years since I took the step of becoming independent and the past 5 years have been full of struggle and learning. During this time, I have tried not to give up on my studies. On many occasions, due to lack of resources, I have not been able to complete school.

During the first months of this year, I started saving some money to be able to invest in my education. Although I had very little, I have learned that everything begins with a step of faith. At the beginning of this year, I began my studies at the Israel University in accounting and auditing and thank God at the end of my first semester (end of July), I had very good grades. I chose to study accounting and auditing because I have read books that highlight the importance of knowing the accounting process of your company.

One day I want to have my own company or business. I just started a company with my brother and father. This really is a miracle and something that God has done in our lives.

I want to continue my studies but I do not have the necessary funds to do so. For that reason, I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider helping me raise funds to continue my studies.

Thank you for reading my letter and for giving me this opportunity to share with you.
