Kenya - Ephrahim

Established in 2010, the Ephrahim Orphan Home provides a safe haven for children who have lost both parents, often due to HIV/AIDS, tribal violence, or malaria, with no one else to care for them.

In 2011, we expanded our support by starting an academy to address the educational needs of the children in the orphanage. The academy offered education from Kindergarten through Primary School, then on to Secondary School, and finally, college or university.

Over the years, more than 100 children passed through Ephrahim Orphan Home, with many now working, running businesses, or serving as pastors in our village churches.

As the children from Ephrahim Orphan Home reach Grade 8, they attend Gilgal High School for their four years of secondary education before progressing to college.

We currently have 5 students from Ephrahim who are studying at universities and colleges, having completed their schooling at Gilgal.

This year, 5 students from Ephrahim who are attending Gilgal High School will graduate from high school and are preparing to join colleges and universities in 2025.

We are also anticipating the last group of Ephrahim kids to join Gilgal after graduating from Grade 8 at the end of 2024.

Your partnership is instrumental in supporting these children through their educational journey, helping them build brighter futures and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
