Amadas (meaning beloved) is one branch of the organization End Slavery Ministries Ecuador (ESME). For nine years, the leadership of Amadas has been organizing activities to build and strengthen relationships with women who are currently involved in prostitution in the Old Town area of Quito. Prostitution is legal in Ecuador for those who are over the age of eighteen years old.

The dream of Amadas is to see women transformed, safe, and healthy with their identity rooted in the love of God. This is accomplished through a holistic process: organizing recreational activities, offering workshops where they can develop job skills, making psychological, social, and legal help accessible, and investing in education, so that their children do not fall into the same generational pattern. More than 300 women who are working in prostitution, as well as their families, are direct beneficiaries of this ministry. Scholarships go towards school supplies and uniforms for the children of these women.
